The ARC™ Muskegon

If you like what you see, spread the word!

Project Brief

In continued efforts to better serve people with disabilities, The Arc™ Muskegon updated its website to be ADA compliant and more user-friendly to the people they serve and to the community. Users with disabilities can rely on “alternative text” — invisible code embedded beneath graphics that makes it possible for assistive technologies to access information and navigate websites.

We added a toggling toolbar that allows users to adjust the screen lighting to high-contrast. The website also allows users to make the font size larger. For those using a screen reader, we were able to add a specialty plug-in.
